The objectives of U3A Central Coast are to:

• provide mature age people learning activities which offer stimulation and development
• offer the social contacts arising from these activities
• encourage members to learn both passively and actively where there is no distinction between those who teach and those who learn
• help dispel the notion of intellectual decline with age

To meet the above objectives, we offer courses that vary greatly and change from semester to semester as members decide to share their special knowledge with others. Courses may include lifestyle and practical skills, musical, theatrical, literary, artistic, cinematic, scientific, environmental and historical interests, as well as discussions about current affairs and physical activities. Outings, trips and social events are also held from time to time.
